Hands-On Learning That Connects to the Real World
Our Youth STEM Programs go beyond traditional classroom learning by immersing participants in hands-on, project-based experiences focused on sustainability, engineering, and emerging technologies. Participants don’t just learn concepts — they build, test, and experiment, gaining real-world skills while exploring topics like clean energy, infrastructure systems, and environmental innovation. These programs help youth develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence while connecting STEM to real careers and community impact.
Youth Innovation Nights
Where Creativity, STEM, and Entrepreneurship Come Together
Youth Innovation Nights are interactive, drop-in experiences where participants rotate through maker, STEM, and innovation stations in a fun, social environment.
Each night features hands-on activities, challenges, and opportunities to create — from building products to exploring new technologies and developing ideas.
These events are designed to help youth try new skills, meet peers, and discover what they’re interested in, all in one evening.
The Hidden Network
Discover the Systems That Power Our Community
The Hidden Network is a project-based program that introduces youth to the invisible systems that keep our communities running — including water, infrastructure, and sustainability systems.
Through hands-on activities and real-world simulations, participants explore how these systems work and how they connect to environmental protection and public health.
Students gain insight into STEM careers, engineering concepts, and community impact, helping them see how they can play a role in building a more sustainable future.
STEM Enrichment Partnerships
Bringing Hands-On STEM Directly to Youth
Through our STEM Enrichment Partner Program, HUMANBULB delivers hands-on, project-based STEM experiences directly to schools, afterschool programs, and community organizations.
We bring curriculum, materials, and facilitators to create engaging sessions that build curiosity, confidence, and real-world understanding.
Programs are designed to be accessible, interactive, and aligned with real-world applications, helping youth explore STEM in environments where they already learn and gather.
Youth Store
From Creation to Real-World Experience
The Youth Store is a youth-led marketplace where participants sell products they create through HUMANBULB programs — from handmade goods to creative designs.
Through this experience, youth learn how to:
• design and create products
• price and market their work
• understand basic business concepts
This is where creativity meets entrepreneurship — giving participants the opportunity to turn their ideas into real products and real-world experience.
