HUMANBULB is the official organizer of the AWS User Group – Sacramento, one of Northern California’s most active AI and cloud innovation communities.

Our bimonthly events attract 100–150 AI professionals, entrepreneurs, and educators who come together to explore cloud computing, machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI trends.
Each meetup features expert speakers, live demos, and startup showcases that foster collaboration across Sacramento’s growing AI ecosystem.

HUMANBULB hosts AI Hackathons where participants develop live prototypes using AWS Development Tools.
Each hackathon challenges innovators to create generative AI tools that solve real-world problems. The hackathon ends with a pitch competition with industry judges.

HUMANBULB partnered with AWS to host the GenAI Trailblazer Portfolio Challenge.

The GenAI Trailblazer Portfolio Challenge introduces young innovators (ages 16–27) to the principles of product management, AI/ML, and user-focused design.
Participants use AWS PartyRock and Vibe Coding to build AI-powered applications while following Amazon’s Working Backwards methodology.

Each team produces:

—A working AI app prototype

—A professional PR/FAQ-style concept document

—Technical documentation and a final presentation

This program builds both technical and creative capacity, helping youth become confident AI product creators ready for future careers.

AI is embedded into every HUMANBULB entrepreneurship and accelerator program. Founders learn how to use AI to:

—Build predictive financial models

—Streamline business operations with machine learning

By integrating AI into startup strategy, HUMANBULB helps founders accelerate growth, reduce costs, and make smarter business decisions.

HUMANBULB also teaches AI video editing and digital storytelling to help participants produce professional, engaging content using next-generation tools.

Through AI-powered scripting, scene design, and automated editing, students and founders learn to create compelling videos that communicate ideas, promote businesses, and showcase innovation.

This program develops creative tech skills essential for modern entrepreneurship and media careers.
